The set design for Animal Farm has a feel to it that takes on a unique connection to the manger Christmas story. The set is very minimal which allows for it to be very versatile in its uses. It keeps the attention on the animals and away from Mr Jones.
Animal Farm is a new adaption written by Saro Lusty-Cavallari for the New Theatre in Newtown, Sydney. This take of Animal farm by George Orwell, has a bit of an Australian feel while still keeping the major themes.
The props for Animal Farm were also create by myself using a variety of recycled cardboard.

A Great show about desire and obsession written by Kim Ho and directed by Saro Lusty-Cavallari. It was a really interesting show to costume design for and I loved how it used my skills to create costumes for many different characters and periods of time.

A fun full energy show based off the Greek Tragedy The Bacchae by Euripedes. I got to design the set and costume for this show and it was very intriguing take on glam rock though it definitely encapsulated the craziness of a rock concert.

This was a One man show by Mark Salvestro, who worked tirelessly on the script and his performance, and was put on as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2019. I designed and sourced the set, mainly finding pieces that worked well with the 1960’s aesthetic. I also created a prop newspaper from the time.

One of my last costume designs at VCA, Mirror Mirror was directed by Georgina Naidu and was part of the 2019 American Plays Season.
All my costumes were sourced from different stores, and were all based around Homecoming, and American High School life.
It was a great experience and the show went really well for the entirety of its run.

Worked as Head of Department for Set for this musical at the VCA. Learnt a lot about organisation and working with a team under me.
Through the process I learnt how to make a hardwood ladder and use scenic painting skills to make an old rusted light fixture.

Interned as a set assistant for Set Designer Andrew Bailey on the 2019 production of the Flying Dutchman with Melbourne Opera.
I helped with creating Props and helping finish set pieces under Andrew Bailey as well as experience how professional Opera Productions run.
This was a great experience and I learnt a lot about set design.
Costume design for Where We Stand choreographed by Isabella Wháwhai Waru.
The costumes were sourced from local and Indigenous owned companies in an effort to give money back to the artists that created the clothing.
The piece involved telling the story of those who are First Nations people from their perspective. During the performance the audience was separated by whether they were of First Nation or not and each group got to experience the performance differently, similar to how some people experience their everyday life.
VCA A View from the Bridge was a part of the 2018 American Plays Season.
I was involved with the creation of the set as the workshop crew. The Scenic Painting for the window and floorboards was done by myself and the Workshop team.
